Michael Randall-Smith works to achieve beautiful and elegant environments that are functional and inviting, with a sense of style, balance and sophistication. He was a Director of Randall-Smith Interiors for 20 years, and established his studio from home in 2006. Success over many years is derived from his innate sense of style, whether traditional, modern or contemporary, and the capacity to listen to his clients to produce schemes to suit their tastes. This is complemented by good product and technical knowledge across all areas, backed by impeccable customer service, which extends to always being generous with his time, completing projects on time and to budget and making himself available to clients, either by phone, email or in person. He has been involved in the fit-out of more than 50 show homes for Homestead Homes and has worked at Carrick Hill, one of Adelaide’s most famous historic homes, and Lady Hayward’s apartment in North Adelaide (the original owner of Carrick Hill). He stays abreast of trends and developments through regular seminars, workshops and fine art lectures. He also spent six months at Baker Textiles in the United Kingdom learning about the design and production of fabrics and wallpapers.
