Our Ethos

The Interior Designers Association of South Australia is an Association based on the philosophy of Tedology. The art of meeting, communicating, discussing, discovering, sharing and learning in a group setting of like minded individuals.

The Association brings together Interior Designers from a variety of backgrounds who wish to engage in meaningful conversation about the Design Industry, Products, Technologies and Trends, whilst forging ahead with their own Interior Design businesses and expressing their own style and creativity.

New members are invited by the President. As a professional body, criteria for ‘invitations’ relates to guests professionalism and sincere contribution to the IDA philosophy.

Proposed new members are invited to attend as special guests to discover ideas, concepts and facts via a journey of conversation.

All members are encouraged to offer their own ideas and comments to the group at meetings. The majority of our Designer members are self-employed , with the merging of industries, businesses and professions exchanging in discussion and shared experiences. This increases knowledge in Technology, Education and Design.

Members encourage and support one another and learn from one another, respecting all members contribution to the group at all times.

This ongoing collaboration of creative minds makes the IDA the unique and special association it is today. An association for creative learning.
